Beautiful region in Spain. After the winter experience with migrating cranes (see Extremadura Winter 2004 gallery), I was very curious to experience Extremadura in spring. Although the weather wasn't really helping, the region delivered more than expected in terms of birds and flowers. Like two years ago, we stayed again at the Finca Santa Marta in Trujillo, great place! We added a short stay in the nearby Sierra de Gredos to search for Gredos Ibex
