Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) - velduil - Uitkerkse Polder. This winter, up to 7 owls could be seen in Uitkerke. Last weekend, I was lucky enough to observe 3 of the remaining ones...lets keep our fingers crossed, they might be nesting there. Shooting these birds in the company of Misjel Decleer (famous belgian nature photographer) was a nice bonus
